We were a group of 10-12 people so we booked the rooms in advance to make sure there was no problem. We stayed at Maamoura hotel at the begining and the end of our journey in Morocco, each time, they wouldn't take the reservation properly and we were 1 room short... The rate wouldn't include the breakfast the second time,... More

My wife and I have stayed here twice, and while it lacks charm and can be a bit rough around the edges, it's a reasonable price and well located. The room we stayed in was large, though a bit musty-smelling, but opening the window solved that. With dim fluorescent lights, it was not the kind of room that makes you... More

This was our starting point for our other adventures in Morocco. The hotel is clean and centrally located and in my opinion priced right. Casablanca isn't a place you want to spend more then a day or two in but if you are looking to be centrally located this hotel is great. The lobby is comfortable, the staff is friendly,... More

It was not easy to find a good affordable hotel in Casablanca but the Hotel Maamoura was a great surprise. It is located in the old Art-deco area of Casablanca, which is very pretty despite being quite run-down. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. No great decor in the rooms, but to me that was not important.... More

Having been misdirected by our travel company to the Hotel Casablanca (which was indescribable) we arrived weary and rather wary at this hotel, where a welcoming cup of mint tea was waiting. The room was freshly refurbished, and had a nice balcony - although the view in this part of town (and most of Casablanca as far as we could... More

The hotel lacked the charm of riads in other cities, but the staff was helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a nice view of the street, the bathroom with all its fixtures worked well, and the beds were comfortable. It's in a good location near the central market but not far from the... I agree with the other reviewers who have given this place an "average" rating. I can't say I was disappointed since frankly I did not expect much. The hotel was recently renovated, and the room we stayed in was large and comfortable enough for the price. However, the bathroom was really awful. The shower worked, but because the nozzle could... Stayed here only for one night - the place was clean and felt safe but there was not much around to do - very quiet at night. There are a bunch of other hotels nearby and a two minute walk will take you to a main street where there a variety of shops, internet cafes, etc. The hotel offers free... More

Our group chose Hotel Maamoura because of its location – three minutes walk from the Central Market. We’ll be returning there soon with pleasure, not only because of the location but especially for the super – friendly hospitality offered to the guests by Manager Mr. Mobarak and his staff .If it made the guests more comfortable then nothing was too...
