We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Auburn for the Kruse Spring Show. We most likely will not be back. As soon as we walked in, it smelled of cigarette smoke--BADLY. So much that we thought someone was smoking in a public area-close enough. It turns out the General Manager of the hotel smokes in her office with the door open--which is right off of the lobby, Breakfast area, and other public areas in the hotel. The hallways were dark, and the rooms were poorly decorated, nothing matched, very tacky. The service was mediocre.
