We stayed for three nights, including Christmas. The staff was very friendly and remained cheerful and helpful when I'm sure they would have much rather have been home with their own families. Our room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and their breakfast buffet was one of of the best. Nicely laid... More

I spent two nights here for the GA HOSA State conference during March 2011 and I was very pleased. The rooms were very clean and the whole hotel was quite well maintained. The free continental breakfast was excellent with a decent amount of variety and vegetarian options and the free wi-fi was very fast. More

I usually find Hampton Inns to be a cut above, and this one certainly was! Not a five-star hotel, but certainly 5 stars for its class. Beds were THOROUGHLY COMFORTABLE, and the breakfast buffet was LARGE, VARIED and WELL DONE! Would DEFINITELY RETURN on my next trip to Athens! More

I stayed for a second time at the Hampton Inn Athens and nothing has changed, which was wonderful. I was again exceptionally pleased with the accommodating staff, comfortable rooms and great sleep quality. More

This hotel looks like an older standard hampton Inn but the interior has had a new make-over. The rooms were very nice with built-in workstations and wardrobes, new lighting and fixtures. A pleasant surprise. More

This hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable in a great location. The front desk was friendly and the common areas are very nice! The rooms are a bit small and more on the basic side of a Hampton but all the necessary ammenities are there. More

We were in town for a football game and the location was great. We stayed one night in a double occupancy room. The room was a standard size room but had some really nice touches that made it much nicer than other standard rooms at similar places. The beds were comfy, the sheets and bedding were amazing, plenty of pillows,... More

I rarely give 5 stars, but this hotel deserves it. Location is excellent as it is quite central (with the YMCA a ways up the street on Hawthorne if you are an out-of-state member). For me, it was an easy entry from the street by entering via the Broad Street side. The best part of this place is the breakfast.... More

A week after our stay, I realized I had left an earring in our room. After contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager not only mailed me my earring, but refused a reward. Our room was clean and comfortable, but knowing they care even after you leave is PRICELESS. It is hard to find customer service like that these days. More

This place was one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. We usually like Hampton Inns.... but not this one. The room bathrooms were disgusting....black dirt and grime in the shower and the sink areas. I had to shield my eyes because it was so bad. Our room didn't even have a tub. The shower was at the same... More
