We stayed at the Foundry for two nights for UGA graduation. It was wonderful.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the lounge and listening to the music. It was very convenient and we walked downtown and to the graduation at the stadium. They did provide shuttle service too.

No, I did not mistakenly spell the name of the place; it is foundering. They list that they provide transportation from the local Athens GA airport, yet they did not for my travel in either direction. The wireless is horrible. I was very pleased with the hotel. Rooms felt like you were walking into your own apartment. Very cozy and the beds and pillows were awesome. You can also walk to downtown Athens which is convenient. If you're into going to spas, they have a great one on the property. Also all the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here during the week to attend a concert at the Melting Point. The room was ok, it was nice not saving to drive. We paid $93 through hotel.com. We did find the bed a bit soft for our taste. The staff was friendly.
