Set up on a swanky, exclusive hill up in the Tegucigalpa suburbs, this is a lovely place with the feel of a Spanish hacienda. We loved the large rooms, tiled bathrooms, and dining rooms. Our only concern was the time and effort it took to find the place - not very accessible.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
-
This house was built almost 40 years ago by a real Hondurian President who took office in 1972 and 1973. His name is Ramon Ernesto Cruz Ucles. Once he and his wife passed on, their siblings inherited the house and then put it on sale. This historical house was slightly refurbished and remodeled to provide a cozy feeling to Tegucigalpa visitors. Enjoy this house in one of the nicest and more secure residential areas in town.
