Sea Eye is a growing resort at the far end of Utila Island. Run by John and his wife Lazuanda (and their 2 little ones), I felt like part of the family. It was an all-inclusive package and they couldn't do enough to make sure I was comfortable, acquainted with the small island and introduced to the locals. They made sure I didn't miss the included excursions as I had a busy SCUBA schedule. A small outdoor bar is open Fridays and Saturdays. You can eat indoors or out but they have the only restaurant on the island with air conditioning! This resort is growing and host special events during Carnival and New Year's and I can't wait to see the palapa in full use! They have a private beach with watersports, hammocks, and chairs. They offer sever different categories of rooms, each with it's own personality. I highly recommend it for singles, couples and families! more
