Ton and Zilla are fantastic hosts. The cabins are beautiful and the grounds are well kept. To top the breakfast was outstanding. I thoroughly recommend this place. More

Just finished up my third trip to Ton and Zilla's place. Entering Villagio Verde will make you feel like you have entered Eden, that Ton and Zilla have created. If you are looking for peace and privacy surrounded by humming birds and lush vegatation, then Villagio Verde is your place. each cabin is decoraded with personal touches reflecting the travels... I stayed there for a month this past summer and had the best experience! Ton an Zilla are amazing hosts, the breakfasts were incredible (Ton made me the best vegetarian breakfasts I've ever had!), the pool was a huge bonus, the beds are comfy and the location is convienent yet super quiet. Can't wait to go back! More

We stayed at Zilla & Ton's place in november 2010. (sorry for the rather late review!) After a long haul flight from Europe, Ton was at the airport picking us up, and after about 20 min drive we were at our destination. The bungalows we rented were big, nice & comfortable, and had good beds! A small fridge with a... More

Villagio Verde is a quiet retreat nestled amongst lush plants and trees. Each room has a porch with hammock so that you can watch hummingbirds, lizards and the resident three-legged dog, who is too sweet, frolic happily. The taxis into town are only one minute and one dollar per person, and the breakfasts are big and delicious. The rooms are... More

Everything about Villagio Verde makes you feel like staying longer or coming back: from the location in the lush garden a little outside of the village, the serenity of the surroundings, the wonderful hospitality of Ton and Zilla, the three friendly dogs and cat and the little pool to relax on your way back from the beach. The rooms are... More

Our trip to Roatan was made extra special because of our stay with Ton and Zilla at Villagio Verde. The bed and breakfast is a wonderful place with 2 great hosts, 3 friendly dogs, and 1 cat. Ton and Zilla are extremely knowledable about the island and can recommend the best places to eat, explore and dive/snorkel. They gave excellent... More

So I almost didn't stay here because it wasn't on/immediately near the beach. But all other Trip Advisor reviews said that it didn't matter, yet I still doubted a little when I made the reservation. I'm here to tell you that not only didn't it matter, I actually ended up being HAPPIER not being right on the beach!!!!! Crazy, considering... More

Ton and Zilla provide a wonderful, quiet, safe environment where I got to rest, relax, and thoroughly enjoy my vacation in Honduras. The B&B cabanas are clean and there are screens on the windows and door to keep those pesky tropical bugs out. The breakfasts are delicious and filling, I especially loved Ton's pancakes! Villagio Verde also has a communal... More

The service from Ton and Zilla is wonderful (along with generous delicious breakfasts). They are available to answer questions and help out in any way. The room is comfortable and airy with a nice porch for breakfast or just relaxing in the hammock. The cabins are located about a mile from the West End among beautiful gardens. A small pool... More
