I love Posada del Arco. It is reasonable- about 250Q or $33 for a double and about $28 for a single. Phone number is wrong in the guide books call 5883-3677

Great location, good value for money, enjoyable place, very clean, nice and helpful staff. It was difficult to get in touch with them for reservation - just go to Chichi and knock on their door. Room No. 7 has a big balcony with a nice view over the surroundings.

When we got into town, a storm was brewing. The place looked a little sketchy on the outside, but we had good reviews, so we went inside. The power had just gone off, but we were just in time for a wonderful thunderstorm on our safe little deck overlooking the town. The hosts were absolutely charming - welcomed us with...

We stayed one night prior to the Sunday market, in order to be in town as it set up for the market. This hotel is a cheaper alternative to the Mayan Inn or Hotel San Tomas, the two tourist-bus hotels in town, both of which seemed nice. We saw a few rooms at Posada El Arco and each had character,...

Pedro is a very friendly & gregarious host, who speaks excellent English, having lived in the U.S. for several years. Ask him to show you his home-made rooftop solar thermal water heater and photovoltaic panels... a hobby of his. The Posada itself is clean, but fairly basic, more like someone's home than a business. There's a fireplace in room 8...

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in a great deal of travel. We stayed for 2.5 weeks while teaching English in a mountain community. Rooms were very clean, large and comfortable--though rustic in decor and furniture. We had a room with a fireplace and balcony and perhaps some others are not so nice. The bathroom,...

I took a group of ten on a mission trip to Chichi. The pastor at the church made the arrangements for our group. It is spacious and decorated in Mayan art and decor.
Its very quiet and located near the Market. Pedro and his family were wonderful hosts. He speaks English so he was very helpful. The garden and courtyard...

Very good posada in the centre of "Chichi", with a large garden and rooms with fireplace.

We chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews, but this was the least-favourite place we stayed in Guatemala. Much of what the reviews said is correct: Pedro is very nice and speaks excellent English, the flowery courtyard is pretty, and the rooms are clean and bathrooms fine. But I really disliked our room, though I´m sure that others would...

Went to the property after talking to a local couple who recommended we go there. I was traveling with my husband and two teenagers. The owner is very nice, speaks english, and the home is clean. It does not look like a hotel but a house that has been remodeled. WE did not have a balcony and i think if...
