Stayed at Hotel de la Fuente just last week. The room was better than we ever could have expected: comfortable bed, cool A/C, very clean and delicious light breakfast. Also, staff very friendly. Will definitely stay there again and do more in the area. Their website is 100% accurate when it promises "a cozy stay at a comfortable price."

We had a hot shower, connection to the internet, and a good night's sleep before leaving on the river trip to Lamanai. The room was clean and the service was fine. Also, very important, they had a good place to park our rental car while we took the river trip.

I like to give hotels leeway, but this hotel is just 'okay'. First, there is no food, no other services besides a bed and a fairly central location. It was clean. Almost Sterile... Modern rooms with A/C, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, fridge, complimentary breakfast in the lobby, private parking... Owners Orlando and Cindy were very kind, and all their employees were very helpful. A good place where to stay in Orange Walk. And the boat tour to Lamanai that leaves and arrives from/to the hotel was perfect.

We loved this hotel. Great value, lovely new building in the back of the property. Service is very responsive and they arranged our tour to Lamanai. My friend broke her foot on the very first day of our vacation (no one's fault - just watch your step around town) and everyone at Hotel de la Fuente did absolutely everything in their power to help us out - including refunding our Lamanai tour, taking her for x-rays, cast, changing our room to the first floor - even... Nothing extra but met basic requirements. Wifi signal was barely adequate. Bathroom was fine and room was spacious. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast was a joke. They seem more interested in selling tours than being a hotel.
