Casablanca By The Sea Hotel is located at the tip of a peninsula, in Corozal District in northern Belize. Near the village of Consejo, and 8 miles north of capitol city, of the same name, Corozal. About one mile distance, across Corozal bay is the capitol city, of the Mexican state of Quitana Roo, Chetumal, Mexico. Corozal bay is a sub-bay of Bahia De Chetumal. This part of Belize is known as The Sugar Coast, as sugar cane is their main agricultural crop. Casablanca Hotel is an appealing, small 10 room hotel, 7 rooms are standard and 3 are suites, all have A/C and T.V. and ceiling fans, but NO phones. All the rooms are located on the second floor. All the 3 suites face the bay, the other 7 rooms are on the sides, but, also have nice views. One of the best features of the hotel, is, that each room has a hand carved mahogany door depicting Mayan scenes.
