We stayed in 3 different lodges during the week: Ballum Na (house of the jaguars), Jungle Camp, and Moho Cay. All three totally different in experience. Belize Lodge and Excursions' Jungle Camp in Toledo district was wonderful and no where near Belize City or anything other than Jungle! We did not even have, or ask for, a key to our room! I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights becuase Belize City isn't worth any more time. The hotel was actuslly quiet nice and central but didn't have much to offer, other than it was safe as I was told it was very dangerous to go out at night. We booked a package that included Indian Creek lodge, Jungle Camp and Moho Caye. The package included trips to Mayan sites, Cave swimming, jungle hikes, birdwatching from a canopy, and snorkeling trips. All food was included as well as all of these activities.
