We stayed at this Hampton Inn for one night in april 2012 in order to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park. We booked a room with two queen beds for two adults and one kid. The check-in was friendly. It’s a brand new Hampton Inn so the room was modern and comfortable with flat screen TV set, fridge, microwave and... More

We recently took a trip to the Sand dunes and ended up staying here for two nights. The hotel is just off the main road a couple of miles from the main drag of town. Its a lonely building - but it definitely looks new and it's a stones throw from Walmart and the Dollar Tree, which ended up being... More

It's a relatively new property, right next to a Wal-Mart in case you need anything, and on the main drag, so you can quickly get to other restaurants in town. It's about two miles from Adams State, so if you're visiting the college you have easy access from there. My only complaint is that it was noisier than most Hampton... More

I sincerely apologize for the noise issue encountered during your stay. Our guests’ comfort and safety is my number one concern. Your review will assist in correcting issues in the future. I do hope that the next time you are in Alamosa you will consider staying with us again. Thank you. More

The hotel was nice - great, comfortable rooms, nice selection at breakfast, beds were so comfy and I was so looking forward to a great night of sleep after spending the day at the sand dunes with our young kids. However, the people upstairs also had children - or WWF wrestlers - and it sounded like they were running or... More

Great value for the money & nice, new (March 2012 visit). Breakfast buffet & hot cookie afternoon snack included. Very clean. My only "complaint" is that the drapes on the windows can't be closed so it is impossible to completely block out light (parking lot lights, etc) during the night. Other than that, highly recommend.

Manager compensated us for the first stay (that was very poor, due to a cleaning lady entering my room before 8am) by giving us a free stay. I loved it. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Price is average but it is expected.

This new property is a welcome addition to the options available in Alamosa. It has been well documented by other reviewers here and i agree with each of their comments. It is the best place to stay in Alamosa for business or pleasure.

I can add nothing else to what previous reviewers have commented on. It is a very good value and probably the best place to stay in Alamosa.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Hotel desk reps very helpful and courteous. The cook provided lots of breakfast items to choose from. Housekeeping was cheerful and courteous. The rooms were beautifully decorated and roomy. The location was close to shopping, eating, and important businesses with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
