We were married in Avalon 50 years ago so wanted to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary there. After reading trip advisory and looking at the hotel web site we decided to return and stay at The Edgewater! The hotel has been totally remodeled with new management. You can't beat the location and the beautifully renovated rooms. It is right on the beach front walk. The rooms have all been recently renovated, and are comfortable and pleasing. The hospitality of the management was superb. Highly recommended. more

Got one of the front suites for a four night stay in Avalon. And we just loved the extra living space, the front sitting area with convenient wi-fi, and being right on top of the action with such a tremendous view. I've never rated a hotel but live by the reviews of others. This exceeded our expectations!!!The rooms are beautiful and clean, pillowtop beds with duvet are so comfortable, location is amazing, and staff is so nice and helpful. Thank you Barbara and Beverly for the 5 star treatment! more

We enjoyed our weekend stay here so much. Can't wait to return again! Our room was beautiful and very well appointed with all the expected amenities. We stayed at the Edgewater the weekend of the Buffalo Run. The hotel has been recently remodeled and is under new management. My family and I stayed at the Edgewater in March 2009. The hotel has recently been re-modeled. It is absolutely gorgeous! The location and the view is incredible. The front rooms are amazing. We are looking forward to staying at "The Edgewater". We've booked the front room that has an awesome view of Avalon Bay. The owners have taken back the hotel and upgraded it nicely. WIll write back and let everyone know about our stay...can't wait to walk a few steps to the beach... more
