1st time in Catalina - loved the view and the staff was terrific. We'll be back. 3 flights of stairs is good for the heart and soul. Good price for a smaller budget. Who wants to spend their vacation money on a room anyways? There's plenty of adventures to be had with the cash we saved. Beautiful honeymoon trip!

New paint and decor does not make up for the size of these rooms. I cancelled my reservations for the rest of the week and moved to a different hotel.

this hotel was clean the rooms were well decorated. A great little hotel that looks like it has been very recently redone. We would stay here again! Just don't book a room on the 4th floor if you have any physical impairments; there is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs!

Beware of the room advertised on the website as a value room with a "partial view". The upside is that it is indeed a value room and you'll save money staying there. The only thing we didn't like was looking out on Von's Roof. Everything else was great! The bed and bathrooms are better that some of the higher end hotels (Hilton, and Sheraton) that I have stayed in. However if you're a person with bad legs or poor health, this is not for you. The only thing we didn't like was looking out on Von's Roof. Everything else was excellent. Our boat got cancelled due to weather and we were able to stay for $50.00 that extra night Our room was so clean and nice. We really liked it but would ask for a room higher next time
