So as you know, its somewhat pricey (and a bit of a hassle) to get to and from the island, but if you are looking for a beautiful, seaside campground to stay at, you've found it! The view is gorgeous, and they offer a lot for you to do! My only problem was that there was a group of college...

Very Rustic Campground and town, but if thats what your looking for you will LOVE this place.
We have been going to Two Harbors for years and love camping and getting away from the misery of LA.
You just need to relax and realize everyone is there for the same reason, to party and escape.

We took our two young children to go camping for two nights. We were happy to get the Tent Cabin near the beach. The others are far up the hill. Eveything seemed great on arrival. Staff was very nice and helpful. We saw the signs on EVERY campsite that said "quiet time 10 pm till 9 am". This means nothing....

great view of the beach, sailboats, power boats.. just breath taking. bath rooms and showers are within walking distance and are clean. more there than the norm campgrounds

My fiance and I recently went to Two Harbors in Catalina and were really looking forward to it but we ended up being very disappointed. The campgrounds were trashed with beer bottles by under age teenagers and we were up until 1am because of all the noise from the party boats in the harbor and the 20 boy scouts screaming...

The bus ride to the campground is bumpy, bumpy, bumpy, bumpy, dusty, dusty, dusty . . . you bring your own tent and though there are bathrooms, there are no showers.
