Stayed here for a few days and upon arriving I was not impressed with the outside appereance of the hotel, as I have a pet which they do accept, but most of the parking lot is asphalt. We arrived at this hotel at daybreak and was met by a young lady who was very friendly and wanted to help us in any way possible, and she did help us. I don't stay in hotels much, so I can't really compare this place to other similar hotels. But I stay here twice a month when I'm in town for classes in Gadsden, and I've always found the rooms to be clean and the staff to be courteous and helpful. I stayed here for one night while driving through because they had a great rate of $39. If it weren't so cheap I would have been very unhappy. This is a motel, not a hotel. The room I was put in had a broken AC so I was moved to another. Both rooms were equally run down looking and dirty.... more
