The Blue Duck Tavern is downstairs - and the food you can have in the bar and in the room comes from the same kitchen. It's really yummy. The room is big, the hotel service is fantastic, the facilities are great and the bed is very comfy. Very minor issues are the soundproofing between rooms and the shower pressure. The... more

I will leave the details to the other reviews, but in my opinion you need look no further - this hotel is simply fantastic! As I am sure with most of you, I have stayed at great hotels throughout the world and I have never seen better service than what I experienced at this hotel. From the moment I stepped... more

I had a pleasure of staying in this hotel during the last year. It is a better hotel then Sofitel which is ranked here as #1 and location is quite good, you can walk to many destinations and business appointments. An advice for those who are booking it for the first time - try to reserve deluxe room, the difference... more

Great service and location. The decor is a Japanese modern zen which is very soothing. The tea bar is very nice and service is great. The only drawback is that it is very expensive for meals. Breakfast for two is about 100 dollars or more and thats for pancakes and eggs benedict although it comes with a small high end... more

I would stay again if I go to D.C. The hotel was in a superb location, Modern and stylinsh, in aquiet, posh and clean urban area near Georgetown, 10 minutes away from the main tourist atractions. The stay was relaxing and the hotel helped in many ways, with an indoor swimming pool, gym, 2 restaurants, bar. Rooms are generous in... more

I am not a fan of Hyatt Hotels, so this was an experience for me. Upon arrival, having used Metro from DCA and walking from the Foggy Bottom stop, the bellman realized we were hot (it was only 95 degrees with 92% humidity) so he went and got us freezing cold bottles of water. Our room was different, but nice,... more

A pleasant surprise: spacious, well designed, functional and esthetically pleasing room. Good service from reception to housekeeping. Well appointed gym (although a pain to get to). Nice enough common spaces. Why the missing star? The restaurant, at least for breakfast, was subpar. The food (eggs!) was not good, and the service was equally weak. more

I travel a great deal for business and had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The decor was unique and the food was outstanding. I had a reservation for a standard room and was delighted to receive an upgrade without asking! The front desk staff and lounge staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge with a great... more
