I stayed one night at the Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion, on a business trip. It's a god choice for anyone having business in that northern area of Washington D.C. The rooms are recently renovated, with nice finishes (nice fixtures and furniture), and are very spacious. The suites contain a living room, with a desk, flat screen TV, couch,... more

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough absolutely one of the best Hilton Chains we have stayed in from the apartment which we could not fault, to the location Friendship Heights is a very upmarket area with lots of designer shops, to the shopping centre this hotel sits atop of with some great places to shop & dine loved The... more

Thank you Peggysue45 for sharing such graet comments and we do hope to have you back in the future. When you return be sure to look for our DC at your Doorstep package as it provides information on Washington DC, the museums and other attractions and also includes two metro passes which will assist in your sightseeing. We appreciate your...

My wife & I have started a tradition over the last few years of spending a few days in DC in the week between Christmas & New Year's if the the weather's not just horrible. In the last 3 years it's been ok. This year was the coldest, particularly a couple of days of high winds and temps in the... more

Thank you very much for your review of our property and for sharing the detail of our area and general location. It is also very nice to hear that our staff, including Ananda (great recollection on a tough name!) stood out and helped make your experience a positive one. We hope to have you both back as our guests again...

Me and my Boyfriend love the location of this hotel, but the customer service was not great. What we love: The room was very clean and the location is metro accessible, the mall is right downstairs! The restaurants are inside the mall and an elevator ride away. Continental breakfast was tasty and hot. The TV is a nice size and... more

At first I was a little skeptical about staying here not knowing DC that well and being a ways from the Convention Center. But after reviewing the reviews and knowing that the Metro is downstairs from the hotel sealed the deal. Room rates were reasonable, not cheap, but given there was a convention going on all rooms in all hotels... more

The Embassy Suites was "home" for four nights and met our needs very well. The Metro station is just downstairs, which was convenient for getting anywhere. The Chevy Chase Pavillion offers shopping opportunities (Stein Mart right across from the lobby), and the area has even more shopping. The breakfast is great and the evening social time was a nice respite... more

I enjoyed our stay at this hotel and agree with all of the wonderfully positive comments about the rooms, location, convenience, breakfast, etc. However, I am a light sleeper and needed prescription sleeping pills to sleep. One night we were there, the live music across the street was very loud; other nights it was simply traffic noise. I travel with... more

We loved the Embassy Suites at Chevy Chase Pavilion. The hotel was clean and people at the front desk were very helpful. When traveling with our children a free breakfast is a must. A free hot breakfast is just a bonus. We really enjoyed th evening reception. What a great way to wind down after a day a exploring DC.... more

Not much to say that hasn't been said in other reviews. I lived in DC for years and knew the hotel -- right above the Friendship Heights stop on the Red Line (Metro/subway) on the DC/Maryland border -- was in a convenient spot. The interior of the hotel (the hallways leading to the rooms) opens into the atrium of the... more

I would highly recommend this hotel to save $ over staying downtown for tourism. The Metro station subway is below the building, doesn't get any easier than that. 1/2 hour to 40 minutes and your on the National Mall. This is a good safe area with a lot of nice restaurants and conveniences nearby including a CVS pharmacy in the... more
