We enjoyed our stay at Adams Inn. As others have noted, the rooms are simple yet comfortable. The staff was very helpful with directions to various sites and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but generous. The neighborhood was the highlight. Also, the Inn was easy walking distance to Dupont Circle and many other areas of interest.

We were in town for a wedding. Rarely used the metro, but was walkable to all our destinations. Felt very comfortable. Staff was very helpful in getting around and addressing any additional needs we had. Loved the neighborhood feel. Would stay again and recommend to others.

One might need to know this place isn't much more than a glorified Rooming House. Factor in you must park 1/4 of a mile from the place , ($30.00/day) and there is NO real breakfast( continental is not what one expect at a BB) . We have stayed repeatedly at Adams Inn because we like its atmosphere. Rooms are simple but perfectly adequate, people friendly, nice and sociable breakfast, great location and setting in lively neighbourhood. A nice contrast to chain hotels or motels, feels like home.
