Sandy, is definitely the best inn keeper, my wife and I have ever had. Very accommodating, friendly, and more than willing to go above and beyond to making your stay memorable. I could tell she really valued our concerns and wanted us to feel completely comfortable in a genuine way. I can't say enough about the quality and care her... More

Me and my boyfriend are travel lovers, but this was actually our first time ever staying at a B&B, and honestly we were pretty nervous about it at first. The reason why we picked a B&B was because we were traveling with my mom. If we stayed in a hotel, we were going to have to book two rooms which will... More

We stayed here for 2 nights - our first visit to DC. We couldn't fault the b&b. Beautiful house and great rooms. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is that you need to take a bus to and from town (45 mins) or a taxi (about 17 dollars). Note that the taxis charge USD 1,50 for... More

First timers to D.C. Decided to make the most of the vacation and selected to stay at a B&B instead of hotel. What a great choice. Read reviews on Trip Advisor and this place did not disappoint. The place is charming and the rooms have all the amenities along with nostalgic charm. Great location~bus stop is 100 yards away. Easy... More

We stayed for three days and would definitely go back again. The breakfasts were great, with a different offering each of the three days. I am an avid walker, so it was great to walk around the neighborhoods, especially admiring the beautiful houses just to the east. We also took a 3 mile walk/hike in Rock Creek Park, which is... More

We arrived late in the evening, and Sandy, the owner, was there to greet & acclimate us. We knew we'd picked a great place to stay when she offered us wine to help us decompress. She provided us with the bus maps, smartcards for using the bus/metro, a guide for using the smart cards, an overview of the house, and... More

Very nice B&B, creaky wood floors not withstanding! Sandy and her staff make your stay very enjoyable. Three story brick nicely furnished with eclectic furnishings, from Victorian to rustic I guess. Very nice breakfast in the morning and lots of sightseeing advice and tips from Sandy to get you going. Bit of a travel to get downtown. Take the bus... More

My wife and I live in a small community in northern Canada. This was our first trip to Washington although we've travelled a lot and stayed in many B & Bs. I admit to having some trepidition about selecting a place to stay for four nights that was so far from the monuments and museums. And my apprehension grew as... More
