My sister and I stayed here for two nights to attend a graduation at Georgetown. Due to graduation season, most hotels were full a year in advance. The Fairmount had availability, so we decided to bite the bullet and book. The rooms are beautifully appointed with extra niceities such as cotton balls and Keurigs. Our beds were comfortable and the... More

All the staff were very helpful especially Jawad who ran the bar. Despite being an Arsenal fan (my son and I are Spurs!) he made some of evenings there ver welcoming. Our room had everything you would need and the restaurant had a varied menu. The. Location was ideal for getting to the various landmarks. Thanks for your hospitality!

Now don't get me wrong, I normally don't stay anyplace for $690.00 buck per night. But my Goddaughter is graduating from GW this weekend. At least the valet is only $45.00 per night Lemante, with a little apostrophe over the E..... They have this person at the front desk with absolutely no ability to smile or talk to people. If... My husband and I stayed 4 nights and we loved to sit in the Courtyard Garden each afternoon before dinner. The garden is full of color and serenity and we found it an oasis after a day of visiting monuments and museums! The garden can also be enjoyed from the Piano bar which is elegantly furnished. The Hotel is walking... More

I go to DC quite a bit for business and I love staying at the Fairmont. The location is perfect for both my business requirements and for its proximity to Georgetown, great restaurants and fun nightlife. The rooms are nice and clean, but fairly standard. My only suggestion would be to avoid Room 424 (which is actually quite beautiful) unless... More

We arranged a family union here for first cousins. Many are 70+ and accustomed to very good accommodations. No one was disappointed. This is a well appointed and well run hotel. The staff is there to serve and please. They hepled us arrange a dinner for the group and gave us a group rate. The rooms are well designed and... More

This was my first time in a Farmont hotel, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The building, entrance, lobby, all look great. But there was nothing particularly memorable about the room. It was nice, had a pleasant view. There are a number of other high end hotels in that area, The Four Season, The Park... More

Bruc3urock, thank you for trying the Fairmont and for posting a review about your experience. We’re glad you gave us a chance! It sounds like next time you visit you will have to get a room that overlooks the courtyard garden. As other reviews have mentioned, it certainly makes the room memorable. We hope to have you back and have... More

I do like to stay in Fairmont hotels, and I have to say this was one of my favourites. Having a room that faces the lovely courtyard is a beautiful thing. I suppose it helped that the flowers were in bloom...but regardless, it's so peaceful having that as your room backdrop! I loved the Fairmont "Loyalty Member" check in -... More

Thank you for the review! We’re glad you are such a Fairmont loyalist—and that we were one of your favorites. Always exciting to hear! The courtyard view is delightful any time of the year, but there is no arguing that having the flowers in bloom helps. You picked a wonderful time to come to DC. We appreciate your kind words... Great place to stay, fantastic customer service,I would definitley stay again when in Washington D.C. The rooms were Luxurious and the beds were very comfortable with many pillows. The attention to detail at this hotel is fabulous and monuments are a healthy walk or cab ride.

I stayed here for two nights comped as part of a conference (rate would have been $249). The room was luxurious, as my title would suggest, but look closely and you can start to see the wear and tear that likely needs updating soon. The furniture (mostly wood, for the dresser/desk/night tables) had many small nicks; the bed wasn't quite... More
