Stayed here one night in April during a very booked week in DC; would usually stay at Sofitel, the Madison or other hotels near Farragut Square. This was a fine hotel for a business traveler. Right next to the Farragut West Metro station and very close to many nice restaurants. A one mile walk to Chinatown. The room was nice, private with everything that you would need.

Stayed here recently for two nights on business travel. Enjoyed the complimentary wifi, snacks in the lounge, and printing. Check in and check out was easy. Good location near multiple metro lines. Room was small but comfortable and clean.

True about the noise yet one must be very picky to find reasons not to return here or to go to any other DC hotel. 1) Location to Mall, 2) Location to Metro, 3) Free and unlimited purified water with containers. #3 was huge, believe it or not. I can't be going anywhere else, highly recommended.

Location is convinient (one block from the white house) although parking is four blocks away (there is a subway directly below). Service is ok, not great. We liked the restaurant, wine selection and meal was good.
