This hotel location and price were ideal for our needs. We flew into Dulles and took the city bus to L' Enfant Plaza. The senior fare for the bus ride was only $3.90. Then we took the Green Line metro and transferred to the Red Line at the Gallery Place Chinatown station. We got off at the New York Ave.... More

newer Marriott property, nice rooms. the staff is very friendly. It is very convienent to the Metro Red Line - so easy access to downtown and the airport. a bit off the beaten path, so leave time to get a taxi during busy times

I stayed here two nights for business in D.C. The hotel is in a great location (right next to a red line Metro stop, which made it very convenient) and has great amenities. Rooms were very clean and spacious. My only complaint was that I needed to make a taxi reservation one day and it took several calls to the... More

Got a great deal on Priceline for a room here. The hotel is fairly new, rooms are very clean, well decorated and it is literally on the metro. Request a room on the street side so the train doesnt keep you awake. Neighborhood isn't the best, but if ur looking to jump on and off the metro and pay a... More

My husband and I recently visited Washington DC for a weekend and stayed at this great hotel. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. It was not just the next 3 star hotel. It is so very new, modern and flawless, so it looks and feels like a 4 or even 5 star hotel. The furniture looks and feels expensive, room... More

This hotel was a great alternative to staying in the pricier hotels near the National Mall. You are one Metro stop from Union Station and witha Smartcard riding the Metro was a cinch. I was worried about being right next to the train tracks but being on a higher floor, it proved not to ba a problem. The Metro stops... More

My stay here was excellent! My bus arrived at Union Station way earlier than planned (6am). The metro made it easy to get to, only one stop away. I was very grateful that they allowed me to check in as early as I did, and the front desk (Lauren) was quite helpful. The neighborhood here is very safe, as are... More

Super hotel. Very clean, safe, reasonable price, and the staff was outstanding. We are very picky about beds, and the bed was awesome! All very new. No nasty bedspread. Sheets used below and above the comforter. I like that alot! (see pictures of the rooms) The metro was immediatly adjacent and so we just bought a $20 metro ticket each... More

We had booked a room at this hotel in February via wotif.com Upon checking in I asked how far we were from town and how to get there I was told to take the metro, i asked if it was safe and was told not to wear any expendive jewellery on the train. I asked if the hotel had wifi... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location … it is just steps away from the New York/Florida Avenues Metro Stop on the Red Line and one stop from Union Station (I was traveling by train this time). That is, in fact, the reason I selected this particular hotel for my four-day trip to Washington, DC. Because it is... More
