We booked with points and received an upgrade to the junior suite: what a great room with a fantastic view onto Rhode Island Avenue. We also received a complimentary breakfast (very good but richer than what I usually eat.) The staff was exceptionally nice--and not in that obvious phony so glad you stayed with us fashion. i do not suggest this hotel if you drive buses. my experience was a nightmare ONLY from the standpoint of there is no bus parking anywhere. the valet, jeff is quite an enterprising young man. charged us $40 for on street parking beside the holiday inn which is not the property of any hotel making it available to anyone. like... more
