We spent 2 days in DC and struggled to find cheap accommodation near the centre of town. We were pleasantly surprised to find a room so close to Capitol Hill and so affordable as well. Were told someone would be at the house between 2 and 4 but we tried calling from 1:30 to 3:00 and got voice message. Finally at 3 someone showed up. Nice room, old pillows. Very modest breakfast. Good location. Able park right in front of the place.
