Very comfortable hotel, good service, nice rooms - I had a lovely terrace overlooking the Plaza in front of the hotel. Good breakfast buffet. About 10mins walk into the historic centre. One word of warning, there is an outside disco in the plaza in front of the hotel every Friday and Saturday. It goes on late and is extremely loud.... more

Trinidad is an absolutely gorgeous colonial town and I'd absolutely recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to discover 'the real Cuba'. The Iberostar is in a great spot, very clean and comfortable and the staff absoutely go above and beyond - we had a great stay! If I went again, I'd probably go for the 'local experience' and stay... more

* belongs to the Iberostar chain * picked it because it was the best and most western in the area * room was pretty big and clean, but there was no atmosphere at all in the whole hotel * hotel restaurant was not cosy at all and the food was hygienic, but not good: plain and simple and totally lacking... more

This is a charming, well managed (exceptionally well managed, by Cuban standards) hotel and a great base for a holiday spent discovering the area. We were almost put off staying here by a TripAdvisor reviewer who said there was 'nothing to do' in Trinidad - and fair enough, this tiny colonial town is hardly a bustling metropolis. But with stunning... more

The hotel is quite nice, with clean, large rooms, nice lobby and a pretty good location in Trinidad at walking distance from Plaza Mayor. However, we had to pay 356 CUC for one night... (approx 300 EUR). We had a much better experience staying at a casa particular. Better food, much better value, and a better Cuban experience overall... more

We had a very nice stay here in a terrace room - the highlight being the large balcony outside the room looking onto the town square. Room was nice and spacious and service was friendly. We wouldn't recommend the evening meal which they really try and sell you. It's very expensive for Trinidad and although fine, is a pretty samey... more

Stayed here 3 nights after the Saratoga. Service considerably friendlier than Havana, but felt the maids a little on the make for tips. We were deeply disappointed by the bar/restaurant when we arrived. Latter and former in fact quite soulless, stuck in a huge room, and for some reason bar decorated in modern orange . No outside terrace/eating area, so... more

From mopeds that ran out of gasoline, to meeting some of the most friendliest locals ever this little and very old for Cuban standards was truly an eye opener. We loved the big double 4 poster beds, yes thats right 2 of them in one room! The lobby is very grand and the free internet in the games room was... more

Stayed here for 2 nights and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Trinidad. The hotel building is just lovely and the rooms are too. While we didn’t have a balcony our room over looked the square and it was a treat to look out on. The room was clean, nicely decorated and included a walk in wardrobe area. The... more

A stunning, luxurious hotel – we were welcomed with a complimentary cocktail and taken to our room which was beautiful and had a large balcony overlooking the square. The service was excellent, the location was ideal and we got an hours free internet access. The restaurant is very smart, although rather geared to American guests. There is no a-la-carte menu... more
