I cannot praise this B&B highly enough. the accommodation is a completely private and delightful 'suite', comprising two bedrooms, sitting room, and bathroom. (The 'loo' is just a step outside your door). all is furnished beautifully with some lovely antiques and is very clean and neat. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and your every want is met by the hosts,... more

After spending 3 and a half weeks in New Zealand and just finished a Coach Tour of North Island as a solo traveller I wanted a few days to relax before travelling back to the UK. What a find. Iluka Homestay B & B was the best. Kathy and John make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Accommodation... more

My partner and I only had two days and one night on Waiheke island. It is truly a love part of the world and was made even more beautiful by staying at Iluka homestay. Katy and John looked after us so well and their house is really welcoming. The room is nicely private with its very own living area which... more

I was travelling by myself and wanted a nice place to recover from the jetlag. The weather was horrilbe (coldest spring day in 20 years) but the accomdations were the opposite...warm and welcoming. YUMMY breakfast served each morning (best I had my whole trip) and for $25NZ dollars per person, Kathy will make a delicious dinner meal for you. Both... more

Excellent room, excellent breakfast. Kathy was helpful. Cheap rental car was not a car I would buy but ran fine, reliable for 250K km. Highly recommended. more

My boyfriend and I stayed with John and Kathy while we were on a round the world trip as a birthday treat for him. We couldn't have asked for better hosts or a more relaxing stay. The breakfast each morning was divine and the bed certainly the comfiest we slept in on our whole trip. We visited in a rather... more

Our stay here was perfect. Kathy and John were the ideal hosts. We were welcomed with a warm cake and recommendations for all the great places to go/see while on the island. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the lush garden. You can also see the water from the front deck. The breakfast was amazing -- both... more

Our stay Iluka B&B and was very relaxing and satisfying. Kathy & John are extremely hospitable and friendly. Kathy has not overlooked any detail in the house or our suite. Our suite even had heated bed-sheets, a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit from their garden. It was beautifully appointed and very welcoming. Breakfast, prepared by Kathy, was delicious and... more
