Location is very nice, almost on the beach. Apartment very well furnished. Apartment itself can be noisy - can hear everything in the kitchen, lounge & entrance doorway from the bedrooms, so not so great for families. Enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed with Managers when we had a problem. Unfortunately my husband left his car keys in a drawer in the apartment.& did not notice until we reached the city. The fullers ferry people suggested we ask the hotel to drop them down to the ferry so we could collect them in Auckland. Initially they said they would. We then waited hours for them to let us know which boat they were on. When we hadn't heard anything I rang to find out what was happening, and was told that they had decided not to do it, saying "Why should we?". I wouldn't have minded so much if they had at least let us know earlier! more
