Overpriced town motel. Very standard with usual features. Rather dowdy. All very no frills. But one has to sleep somewhere more

This Motel was relatively clean and tidy. The crockery, furniture is at least 30 years old along with the facilities. The Motel is over 40 years old and looks it. The rates were very expensive for what you get. Another disappointing Motel on our journey, incredibly overpriced with misleading photos on the website. more

We had selected this motel purely on location (ie nearest to the ferry terminal) and, from the website, we were not really expecting anything special. Stayed at Americano Motor Inn in downtown Picton on the high street, everything within walking distance including the ferry. Motel has free shuttle to ferry if needed. Full kitchenette but no internet. Comfortable room but nothing special. Three stars. Not much to do in Picton except wait for the ferry more

This motel is really convenient being in the centre of Picton within a few minutes of all the restaurants and terminal. Our room had all the basics, but was a little quirky i.e. no shelves beside the bed, no hooks in the bathroom etc. The detail hadn't been thought through.
