If you can afford it, this is a fantastic location to enjoy a great part of NZ. While expensive, if this resort was loacted in most other countries the cost would be significantly higher. I would suggest 2-3 nights here would suffice - not sure what you would do if you stayed longer. As a coffee addict, having a great... more

Bay of Many Coves is in an amazing location on the Marlborough Sounds on the very northern tip of the South Island of New Zealand. The restaurant and chef cook amazing food every night, and all of the rooms are one-bedroom suites with beautiful views of the water. This is an amazing place to relax for 3-4 days, as you... more

OMG, stay here! The was the best place we stayed at in NZ by a fairly comfortable margin. Not only is it a gorgeous location, it is the nicest place to stay along the QCT, with excellent rooms (every one is a suite), each with views to die for, a wonderful restaurant, exceptional service (helped that we were the only... more

From the view of a 13 year old. Wow! We stayed here for 4 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment up on the hillside overlooking the bay. It was lovely. I am part of a family of 6 and we loved the place, the food was great, awesome location, lots to do and awesome rooms! It was quite a walk... more

We stayed at the BOMC for 1 night after taking the ferry from the north to south island. I would have liked to have more time here, because it really is that gorgeous, but if you only have one night, do it! The place is exclusive, as it only accommodates 34 guests and requires a 30 minute water taxi to... more

Wow! A friend told us about the Bay of Many Coves Resort and booked two nights for us as a honeymoon gift. We had no idea what we were in for. The hotel, staff, weather, room, food, drink, stars, EVERYTHING was spectacular from the moment we set foot on the pier to the moment we left. I can't imagine a... more

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights in February. The location is fantastic and the views are wonderful. The self contained apartments are modern, spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and very efficient. 24-hour room service is excellent. The swimming pool (unheated) is small and its surrounding area disappointing. Not much to do if the weather is... more

We had two night at the resort as a bit of a 'treat' during our travels around NZ. It certainly isn't a cheap stay, costing $500 per night for the cheapest room, but on arrival we found we had been upgraded to a more luxury cabin which was beautiful. Each self contained hut has a queen sized bed, large bathroom... more

We stayed here for 2 nights Jan/Feb 09 and it was a highlight of our trip to NZ. The surroundings are stunning and the resort's (award winning) design makes the most of them. Amazing views and wildlife around. Great food and levels of service that are extremely hard to fault, and yet the resort maintains a very relaxed unpretentious atmosphere... more
