I've stayed at the OFS 3 months. Those were the best months of my trip. Everything is nice about this hostel: the staff, the look (the paints on the walls are awesome), the people, the pingpong tournaments every month, the backyard, the outdoor cinema, it's the perfect place if you want to make the party every night, the "jukebox" in... Awesome place to stay. We were here for two weeks in July and had a great time. The movie room and the outdoor cinema were great, the staff always seemed to be cleaning. Everyone was friendly and we even got dinner cooked for us by some lovely French travellers who cooked too much :) The downside - it's VERY noisy... More

I spent two months at this hostel, brilliant atmosphere and all the facilities. Probably not the place to stay if you are seeking a relaxing getaway, but this is possibly the best place too get drunk in Freo! Friendly staff and a good location make this place a winner. More

This was the first hostel I stayed in and thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot of people are long termers but you are made to feel welcome, although can still be a little 'clicky'. I stayed in a female dorm which has its own kitchen, TV, and bathroom. Spent a few nights in my PJs under a blanket watching one of... More

A really nice place. Very friendly with a great atmosphere. The place was constantly being cleaned so can't complain there. Most people in the hostel had been there for a long time but they made us feel very welcome. More

I have stayed in many hostels over the years of various standards so I can so from experience that hostel had some good points and some very unfortunate points. It is a nice building with big common rooms and free internet. The rooms are a bit crowded together and shoved in every corner. It was also filthy. There were worms... More

Great little hostel. Our room was compact to say the least but it was very cheap with a tv and fan. The staff are great. Very helpful and jobs are arranged for those who want them every morning. Free bikes and internet is a bonus too and the hostel is quite central. Good outdoor common area where there's always a... More

I would like to point out that the staff were very friendly and helpful. the free internet access is available on a selection of thrashed PCs all with blurry screens, ideal for damaging eyesight. The letters on the keyboard have worn away, making it impossible for a non-touchtyper to write anything. The seated area was full of bleary Cheech and... More
