Very disappointed in Chalet Horner. Very worn and dated for the price.

We didn't stay here but after discovering this pub we ate here 3 nights in a row. Their so called "snacks" are huge cooked meals, very delicious and soooo cheap. We loved the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff especially the lovely Stefi who is always smiling. The location is perfect.

Our family spent a week in Lauterbrunnen staying in Horner apartments 3 and 4 in the building across the pub. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. Laundry (coin operated) in the building. Everything works. We stayed for 5 nights in the top apartment which was big and fully furnished. Everything works here. Inspite of so many gadgets in the apartment, we did not have problems with any oft them. This was a comfortable place to stay with a superb view of the wonderful valley and waterfalls. Teresa was very helpful and we really appreciated the Lindt chocolates and other goodies she left for us. Very convenient to the station.

Great location to shoot locations, base jump, ride, whatever! Great little pub, wonderful innkeeper and unbeatable way to feel like your really living in the Alps! The housing units re the way to go with kitchen, HOT water and great views!

We stayed 2 nights in the apartment unit just opposite the pub and had a lovely experience how the Swiss live! We had 2 bedrooms, balcony, kitchen and living room all to ourselves with excellent views of the church and valley and the nearby Staubbach Falls. Back again this year at the Horner on the Corner excellent accommodation,great weather and superb scenery.Visited on foot Rock Stock Hutte,Gimavald,Murren,Wengen,Kliene Shidig,Gross Shidig,Ishenflu,ended with Helicopter trip past N Wall Eiger etc. Great craic in the Horner each night,Angie and her staff really goood.If you go to this area and accommodation you wont be disappointed.
