We were fortunate enough to stay at Casa Vale del Rei for five nights in June, 09. While it was originally a little hard to find [a gps is helpful], it became one of my favorite places to stay anywhere that I have travelled. The rooms are comfortable and the setting is incredible. If you want quality and value for money this is the place. The atmosphere is tremendous and relaxing with great views and the surrounding countryside and beaches are equally superb. More importantly, the attitude of the owners is wonderful; not only do they serve a great breakfast but they go out of their way to make you feel at home... more
This was out only prebooked bed and brekfast on our roadtrip in Portugal. It was in the end of the trip and we had very high hopes after being less happy with som of the other places we stayed at along the coast. What a relief when we discovered that Casa Vale Del rei was all we expected and more.... more
I spent 10 days at Case Vale del Rei just outside Tavira in August 2007. It is an amazingly calm and relaxing place to spend a few days and a great value base for exploring the Tavira area. Played lots of golf (two good courses within 5 mins drive) and ate too much at Robins great breakfasts. Can't thank you... more
