What a pleasant surprise, a lovely little hotel with a kind, caring staff.. lovely chic rock garden and light airy rooms. I loved my night here.. I found it by accident and am glad of it .. really a fantastic little hotel and restaurant..

We spent 4 nights here and can recommend it as a superb base for discovering the delights of Skagen. The room was very comfortable & spacious, although we were in the main house and the "courtyard rooms" did look small. So maybe a good idea to check when booking. There was good free WiFi, and the breakfasts were excellent. The... More

Small, friendly hotel in walking distance to any attraction in the town of Skagen. Newly restored, light and friendly rooms, awesome Hästens beds and linings. Great breakfast with different types of bread, spreads, cerials, meats, eggs and cheases. Only the bathrooms are a bit small and oldfashioned, but still functional, clean and not worn down.

We stayed at Plesner only for one night unfortunatly as our holidays was too short. If we had the chance to come back we would stay for two nights to enjoy the nice town and the wonderful surroundings. We were 2 couples and we booked 1 double room in the main building which was very nice and cosy. And we... More

I have been to Skagen last week and stayed over night at Plesner. Ofcorse it is a small hotel but nice and charming indeed. ^-^ Everything inside the hotel is totally new. The most important thing is the room's very clean and fresh. The room I booked is quite large with completely perfect design not too much and not too... More

Hotel Plesner is a very precious small hotel which communicates the Danish lifestyle in each detail. A neat red brick building with large windows in the ground floor welcomes you in the middle of Skagen. Once you enter, you encounter a bright white world with charming, but minimalistic design and lovely simple decoration details. Find your way to the rooms... More

this had to be the absolute worst hotel we've ever stayed in. The room was tiny with absolutely no amenities. The hair blower had to be attached to two extension cords so I could use it while looking into the bathroom mirror. The TV had two channels, one totally in Danish and the othe had a program about sheep shearing.... More

We stayed here with friends who booked the hotel for a couple of days to get away from it all. The hotel is small and minimalist and the decor is pure scandinavian, clean and fresh looking. There were paintings all over the walls (maybe one or two too many) for sale and yes the rooms are very basic. We were... More

We had a room in a side building which had been rebuilt from a a workshop or a garage. Tried to change rooms but were told that they were fully booked. Very, very basic room, small with a good bed but no other furniture except 2 tiny wooden chairs. Midget TV was hung 2 meters up and had 2 channels.... More

The hotel was recently renovated giving it a clean old-style, minimalist look with designer furniture and accessories. We had Room #1 with a fantastic views of the town and sunsets. Breakfast (which is included) was a good but typical Scandinavian smorgorsbord. The hotel is centrally located to virtually everything. Just a note: If you are unable or unwilling to climb... More
