We travel a lot, worldwide and this inn is the most unfriendly place we have been. We come in, the place is empty, the woman behind the bar is heating water, she ignores us, doesn't even look at us. When she finally does, she just glares at us until we say who we are and we have a reservation. Her first words/demand to us are "you pay now". She fumbles our credit card then gives us the key and shows us the stairs. This was called reception.
The room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was simple.
The next morning a new woman behind the bar at breakfast. When she sees us she commands "you pay now, before breakfast". The first attempt at the credit card did not go thru. No smile, no thank you, no eye contact.
This could be a nice place if the staff learned something about guest service.
