I stayed here for one night in September. The place is great - it is on the left bank of the Daugava - and you can walk across the River to Old Riga in about 15 minutes. This hotel is excellent value for money, the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, the staff were very helpful, the city of Riga is about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes on the tram, which is a pleasant journey as you have to cross the river in which has great views of the city.

No frills, but rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant small, cosy and good value. 30 mins walk to old town or catch a tram or taxi.
