Spent two nights here in July. Wasn't very good value though air con worked well and was quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Biggest let down was breakfast. The pub is used which is attached to the Hotel. Food left out all uncovered in very warm room - orange juice and milk had gone warm. very unhygienic.

The three stars attributed to the Hotel Pallas are well deserved. Though our room was more or less standard, lacking any real character, it was still quite comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the historic attractions, and the breakfast buffet served in a downstairs restaurant is ample and reasonably good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
