Friendly staff who all speak English, clean comfortable rooms and good breakfast, very good value for money. Ideally situated for a walk into the old city. Close to the ferry port and city tram stop [ over 60s travel free!!!] Good walking nearby, try the walk past the old prison followed by a drink at the old red London bus.

Very pleasant staff, staying there every few months with all my family. very close to port and Old Tolwn. Rather poor breakfast but the price for room is attractively low.

This was the perfect place for us to stay and keep a decent budget, it's hard to argue with 38 euros a night. The hotel was clean and provided a decent breakfast. It was also very easy to walk with luggage from the passenger ferry and the walk to old town just took a few minutes. There were only two... More

I have been in Tallink Express Hotel a few years ago (2005, Reval Inn). Location is very good (not far to city center). Rooms are clean and good standard. I liked especially the soup bar in the basement, very helpful in a cold Estonian winter. More than a typical 2star-hotel.

Here is some brief information about my experience in last August 2011. The hotel is simple but offers much more than apparently seems. It is an economic solution, but don't be mistaken ; comfortable enough, with friendly staff and service and at least, by my experience, professional enough. Correct breakfast buffet, very crowded but acceptable (always look at what are... More

I recently stayed at the Tallink express hotel and the only way i can describe it was simply average. But a review is a review! Overall the hotel could do with updating and modernising a bit, rooms were slightly old fashioned but largely clean, with relatively comfortable beds. Shower cubicle had hairs left over from a previous guest. Breakfast that... More

The hotel is cheap and has a good location - just next to a harbour (but be aware it is not next to Tallink ferry terminal) and within a few minutes walk from the Old Town. The hotel features two elevators activated using a room card, though the waiting time is really long. Breakfast area is large enough, but the... More

The hotel was not chosen by me but I found it interesting to try to stay in a two star property. You clearly can see the difference to a three star one here. Nonetheless, I guess the hotel is good value for money. You can only expect hostel like service when you pay less than 20 euros per person. The... More

A decent 2 star hotel to stay with a very good location. It is 5-6 minutes walk from the old town, is located very close to a ferry terminal. Also different modes of public transport are easily available from outside the hotel. The hotel also easily arranges taxis on a 5 mins notice at no extra charge. Rooms are pretty... More
