we went there following family friends' recommendation for a summer wellness long weekend. It was a huge disappointment. i honestly don't know why this hotel is so popular. it is extremely expensive, and it does not pay back. the rooms are tiny and dark, not cleaned properly and are equipped with the cheapest accessories, you can feel the investor tried... I spent one night and two conference days at Hotel Azur's new Premium wing. I enjoyed the lake view and the spacious room with an extremely comfortable double bed. Siófok is a bit deserted area from October till May, but ideal for a 2-3 day rest.

Stayed here just before Christmas. Was upgraded to premium hotel due to refurbishment work in main hotel. Spa facilities were very good, staff friendly and most spoke good English. Food was excellent. Plenty of choices, fish, variety of meat and vegetarian options. Close to train station and centre of siofok.

We booked a 3 day-2 nights package ,with half-board , wellness for a short get away weekend. We just wanted to relax ,enjoy good food, wine, massage ,wellness ,long walks by the lake. The room we booked(19m2) was very small, smelly ,the shower small as well ,even a very slim person wouldn't feel comfortable in there. The food was average,Dinner was cold and nothing... More

We booked a 3 day-2 nights package, with half-board for a weekend. Before we entered the place I thought it is not so cheap, but after we left the place I feelt it was very expensive. Receptionists were friendy and helpful, but personnel in the restaurant are rude and unpolite. Prices of drinks are very expensive in the restaurant, but... More

The first impression was that despite we told the receptionist (as per her question) that this was our first time there, we got no information about anything. (No maps, breakfast/dinner times, animation, etc.) The rooms were also a bit disappointing - shabby furniture and wallpaper, and unreasonably wide connecting doors between the tiny rooms, which made it even harder to... We stayed in the premium rooms therefore I can speak only about them. They are clean, nice, large although there are some odd things taking in consideration their being in a four star plus hotel: no slippers! No soap! Food imaginative but not more than average Spa facilities of first class

We stayed at this hotel as part of my Hen weekend and the service was mostly good. As always it depends on a person. Hotel is rather big , spread out over a few buildings, we stayed in the same building as the reception. Double rooms were a normal size with two single mattresses (comfy), there was also a nice... We just returned ffrom our weekend stay at Hotel Azur. It was basically terrible. It is like hospitality 15-20 years back in Hungary. The food is absolutely not 4 star, the waiters and staff is totally 2-3 star and the facilities although new, are all too overused and need to be renewed. The worst are the hotel rules that they... I stayed at this hotel for a wellness weekend with my friends and I would highly recommend to anybody. The wellness area made us amazed, it was wonderful. The customer service was excellent - particular Mr. Peter Haga at the Restaurant, he was very friendly and helpful. This hotel made us feel at home. Thank you Hotel Azur Balaton
