If all you want is a room in a good location this is OK.....but don't look for any frills.

This hotel is in a quiet location about 10-15 mins walk to the sights of the town and where there are plenty of restaurants.
It served a good breakfast which can be eaten in an outdoor courtyard.
Only one of the wings has air-con. Initially we thought it was working well but it is all noise an no cold air....

The Korona Hotel in Eger is in a good location within walking distance to the town center. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the hotel needs a lot of work. The TV is tiny, no free internet, old beds and mattresses, old “communist” style decor in the rooms. I did not check the pool and the spa services...

We asked the hotel to wash two shopping carrier bags of laundry for us which in England would cost about £15 to wash and dry.
