Nice hotel; well located; great breakfast selection; smallish room but very comfortable and modern. Small, intimate bar on site. Would highly recommend this hotel more

My boyfriend and I were both really pleased with this hotel. The photos we had seen of it online were an accurate representation of what the hotel was like, and the price was great. As we try to take a couple of city breaks each year, but usually do it on a modest budget, we were delighted to find a... more

I chose this for 1 night because it's near National Opera House (~ 5 mins walk). It's close to other spots as well (<10 mins walk): Chain Bridge, Vorosmarky Ter ( a square where there are many open-air food stalls day and night), Deak Ter (metro conjunction). My single room is Euro 89@ and I don't think it worths. Room... more

Just returned from Budapest after thoroughly enjoying this beautiful and delightful city full of wonderful buildings and splendid architecture. A cultural experience as well as a central European history lesson. We were also very impressed with the fact that as senior citizens we could travel on all means of public transport giving us the opportunity of seeing much of this... more

The hotel is situated on the Pest side of the city close to Vaci street (main shopping street with plenty of bars and restaurants), St. Stephan's church and Danube river. All the said places as well as the Chain Bridge and Parliament are reachable by feet. Our room was quite small, but nice. Well, it was not posh or fancy,... more

Stayed there for 2 days. Our room was comfortable, clean and rather big. The location is perfect, right next to the underground station which makes it easy to get wherever you want and hotel itself is in easy reach from all the main sights. Breakfast was very poor. more

My fiancée and I stayed here for one night at the end of an exhausting trip across Serbia before flying home to the UK. The room was very clean, spacious and modern. The double bed was massive and extremely comfy! There are many lovely restaurants around the hotel to choose from; however they're all fairly expensive. If you want a... more

I stayed in this hotel, on my 3 days sales trip. I booked this hotel on some website. We did not expect a lot, but we where surprised. Hotel is just lovely. Nice deco, good quality breakfast, clean and very modern rooms, and what was the best just minute walk to the river and to bridge. Near synagogue (opposite very... more

Stayed at the Hotel Carat for 3 nights in October 08. Location excellent, St Stephens Basillica 2 minute walk and 10 minutes to the Danube. Plenty of shops, bars and eateries close by and metro station 2 minutes away. Hotel itself was very nice, room a bit small but very tastefully decorated and good functional bathroom. Staff spoke good english... more
