Hotel located a walk from Train station but the neighborhood is quite scary. Staff (day time) very nice, prompt for all request. Rooms are ok. Temperature control in the rooms does not work. It was hot inside the room. Had to open the window. I found breakfast extremely expensive 12 Euros for a continental one? No decent restaurant around. Got... more

Having stayed at 19 different hotels in 7 countries in 30, this was the worst. Don't be fooled by the 4 stars. It looks good from outside however rooms are small, furniture is old, bathroom floor tiles were cracked, shower base damaged and roughly patched and the room was smelly. The staff were not friendly. The only good thing was... more

The hotel has very tiny and small rooms where there is no space when you get out of bad to step aside. Also, there is no light in the rooms. The furniture is old. The staff is extremely unpleasant and rude. It is not typical Ramada hotel...Bathrooms are also small. The location is quite ok. more

Clean rooms. Well located for my conference at the university- wouldnt be if I was a tourist. No tea and coffee in the rooms. No shampoo or soap so dont forget to take your own. Staff not that friendly- really didnt like it when I queried a £20 bill for 3 little bottles (500mls) of water- which I thought were... more

I did not like this hotel, it's far from the old town, rooms are very tight, bathroom was not clean and the floor even though it was non smoking was filled with the cigarettes scent... The hotel price is pretty affordable but it's not high value neither ;)) more

Good hotel for tourists albeit not very central. Rooms were HOT even with the window open in December and air conditioning not working. Very slow Internet connection. Not ideal for business travellers. more

Our stay was very comfortable in this hotel. It wasn't located right in the centre of Pest, but it was very handy for both the trams (2,4,6) and the Line 3 Metro (Ferenc Korut). The Hotel is situated in the safe & busy district of Ferencvaros, and there are lots of bars, snack bars, shops and restaurants close to the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ramada for three nights in September 2008, with a tour group of 43. The hotel is fairly new, but the rooms are extremely small, even for European standards. The room amenities were decent, but our room was like a sauna with an average temp of 85 degrees F. No relief with the air... more

The room was clean, had a useful fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. The only problem was that the hotel was really warm and the air-con did virtually nothing to cool the room. The hotel bar was, unsurprisingly, expensive but there's a bar just opposite the hotel; there's also a small shop and a supermarket down the road. We decided... more

As previous reviewers have said, this hotel is a bit out of the centre - but Budapest is a medium-size city where I would advise buying a travel card to get anywhere, in which case this hotel is in the perfect location. I'll try to decribe: The two main tram lines in Pest form a 'D' shape, tram #2 runs... more
