I stayed here with a friend in May 2007 and we had a great time. The location is excellent, the hostel is clean and the guy at the reception was always willing to help us out with all of our trip. It is not a party hostel which means we got a great night sleep!

The Red Bus Hostel was far from a bad hostel. The location was great, right in the city center and near to almost any subway-line. But the hospitality wasn't that great, we could only pay in cash and in advance, while they put on booking.com there was a possibility to pay with Visacard. I met some friends who were staying... This hostel is ideal for groups of 5 people who want to share a room with private bathroom in a very cheap price: - Rooms nice and clean, - Staff friendly and helpful (before with e-mail and then with every information) - Clean and equipped kitchen, - WiFi free, - Clean bathroom, - Beds comfortable and warm. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay here. On the plus side it was very centrally located. On the downside, pretty much everything else. The guy on reception was extremely rude to us and very unhelpful every day...like it was a major inconvenience for him to even be there... To be honest he didn't seem quite with it...there were... Great location - close to Metro lines - and easy walking distance to main central attractions. Really helpful staff and friendly atmosphere. Kitchen equipped to cope with most culinary ambitions. Easy access - come and go when you please - you get your own key. We were really comfortable there for four nights in our own double room. Great value... More

I spend 2 nights at the Red Bus. On the positive side, the location! It is very central, close to all important sights. Also the position is very quiet, far from the noises of the bars and the people on the street, so you can have a very good sleep. The hostel is currently being renovated, so while I was... More

We stayed there for 4 nights and really falled in love with this place! The owner just renovated everything and really cared for us feeling well, welcomed and like at home! The kitchen always had fresh fruits, herbs and coffee&tea free available for us! :) I liked it!!

We booked a triple room for 3 nights in the hostel. The room was a good size, clean, basic breakfast was included. The bathrooms were the downside - not great facilities, not enough of them, often had to wait for a shower. OK overall.

I had booked a 5 bed dorm. The room was spacious. They're aren't enough women's showers and bathrooms available. The staff did try to accommodate that, by letting us use the men's shower if no one was in there. I think the place should have more bathroom facilities. It was located in a quiet street and very close to all... More
