We stayed for one night while driving accross Europe. Location is good with easy to get from highway. The family room was not what we expected - it was two small rooms with shared corridor, the bathroom was a little bit strange (see picture) with bath digged into the floor. No elevator so picking the laguage through the narrow stairs... More

We stayed at the Molnar Hotel for the 2nd time since 2002 for "dental" reasons. We had a nice room in the "dependence" with view to the city. We had dinner on 4 evenings at the restaurant and it was every time very good and not expensive (between HUF 10000 and 12000 for beers (temperature was about 35 C), wine,... More

We stayed a week in this charming, clean, friendly hotel located in a quiet residential street in the Buda Hills with a great view of the lights of Budapest. Easy to get to from the city on the No 8 and No 53 buses, we found it a nice oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Budapest. There are no... More

The Molnar hotel is a bit of a trek out of town. I walked TO it from town - boy is it uphill (the last bit especially). I'm sure it only takes a few minutes in a taxi though. The room was clean and my only complaint was that the duvet was very thin and quite small. Tall folk beware.... More

Yes, it is indeed a bed and breafast. But it is a very nice little place, with an excellent view and really a nice staff! Very comfortable, highly recommended as a quiet alternative to larger downtown hotels.

The panzio is located in center Budapest , with great conditions, but i'll recomend it only for transit in Budapest maximum 2 or 3 days.

Wonderful little place to stay. Our small group stayed in Budapest, for 2 days to decompress from mission work in Romania. It was not long enough. Budapest is a place that you MUST see. It is absolutely beautiful. The Molnar was very clean, the service was very nice and the breakfast was so good. The ride into town was quite... More

This was the first hotel that we stayed at during our 5 week holiday in Europe and it was a great introduction. The rooms are beautiful and very clean and our room had a great view over Budapest. The staff were very helpful and kind to us. Every morning there was a beautiful breakfast buffet - probably the best breakfast... More

We have just returned from a splendid week in Budapest and the Molnar Panzio Hotel. The accomodation was very well priced and spacious with seperate bedroom for our young Daughter. Breakfast was above average in a most pleasant dining room which also provided a good quality evening meal. The hotel staff were all very helpful at all times.

THE GOOD BITS - The hotel location was great, very peaceful and only a short bus and tram ride into the heart of the city - approximately three minute walk on the flat to the bus, a two minute ride down the hill and a ten to fifteen minute tram ride to the city centre. The public transport is amazing... More
