Most reviews will reiterate that this is a very good hotel with a great location, the subway is just outside the door and will take you across the city in minutes. We upgraded to the 9th floor rooms for our visit of 5 days and speaking to others on our trip this was a very smart move .As for the... More

Great location and friendly service. Great breakfast. I shared a room with 2 others. A regular small room with an extra bed. There was not room enough! I usually do The five Tibetian Rites in the morning. There was only room to manage four of them..

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel has all the facilities, but the standard rooms are small, have little wardrobe and no drawer space, only one person can possibly use the bathroom at a time and there are no plugs in the basins - not just our room but, as far as we could tell, all standard rooms (this... I had the happy experience to stay in one of the Privilege rooms for the first time recently. The room was extremely comfortable and the Privilege breakfast was definitely a civilised way to start the day. The Privilege experience was something special for this hotel chain and one I would highly recommend. As a Platinum Le Club Accor card holder... More

This visit to Budapest was a package that included flights and hotel accommodation. The Korona Hotel is very conveniently located overlooking Kalvin Ter where you can catch a tram with connections to all parts of the city requiring minimum walking (very important for the elderly). Our room overlooked the square where we could watch Budapest people going about there day's... More

The hotel is brilliantly located to most amenities. The Metro is literally outside, this being Kelvin Ter. Don't worry about using the metro it is similar to other European cities. You are within a ten minute walk of the Central Market worth a visit, the Liberty/Freedom Bridge and of course the Danube. Also hop on hop off sight-seeing bus stops.... More
