Staff: without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. For example, a packet of maps and activities was ready for me on arrival. Location: the hotel is centrally located close to the Opera and an easy five minute walk from the Deak Ferenc Ter Metro. Also, the trolley-bus from Keleti Station passes close by the hotel. There is a good... More

Hotel Ambra is overall a nice hotel. It's location is very central with less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Opera, M1), or less than 10 minutes to the greater hub (Deak Ter, M1, M2, M3). The staff was overall helpful and friendly. However, the restaurant staff didn't always seem to be 'in control' when organizing... More

We booked this hotel as a 'secret hotel' for 1 night and was so happy with it, we ended up staying 3 nights in total. The best thing about this hotel is the great service that the staff provides. All staff we had contact with were extremely helpful and happy to provide recommendations and travel tips. It's also within walking... More

Very helpful staff, amazing breakfast, really clean hotel and en suite bathroom was very clean and large. Bedrooms were also very big with lots of wardrobe space. There are no toiletries whatsoever supplied so bring your own soap and shampoos, I did expect considering it was a 4 star but its just to let future guests know. There is free... More

The hotel was very clean. They had free WIFI which was really good. Their food was reasonable. The location was excellent. It was in the local area. I didn't feel like being a tourist much and could feel the hungarian life!. It's just 10 mins walk to the tram. There are many bars and restaurants you could chill out before... More
