I loved this hostel, it's an eclectic mix of styles and luxuries - if you'd like a more private room they've these awesome individually designed ones with a shared kitchen that looks like it belongs in someone's home, but the one i stayed in was the 8-bed mixed dorm that's connected to the reception/lounge/kitchen area. I was pleasantly surprised that... More

The groove is the most sociable hostel i stayed in. It is quite small and based in one large apartment so everyone can interact and get to know each other very easily. It was very clean and beds were comfy. Also as we stayed on a monday night we were treated to a free Hungarian goulashe meal-yum!

The Groove was fantastic, it was great for meeting other travellers, had comfy beds, friendly & helpful staff. The one dowside was that there was no air con.

Huge private rooms on the lower level with clean spacious bathroom, and very well equiped kitchen. The kitchen has everything one misses from home like coffee machine, gas cooking and sharp knives. Fast internet in our room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definetly recomend it.

Everyone was very positive and the atmosphere very welcoming for this geriatric visitor. Less than 10 euros per night - including coffee; clean and comfortable beds; I shall definitely return.

All this at one of the lowest prices in town. The guys running this place should be complimented for their unique... More

I highly enjoyed staying at The Groove. It was very close to a main train station, trams, and the main sites. Perfect for site seeing. And the staff was exceptionally helpful and very friendly! My friends and I asked many questions and they were very glad to help. A big thank you to Lily, Bensa, and the guy with glasses... More

This is a great hostel! It's really small so you meet everyone and it's really friendly. The staff are all lovely to chat to and ask about sights, nightlife etc. There is a full kitchen and common room as well as a lofty thing with beanbags and a TV/DVD player with lots of films and books. The rooms are big... More
