Have just come back from a 7 night stay at Kronau, and absolutely loved it. The chalet resort location is fab.It is quiet/peaceful,yet is only only a short stroll into town, and there’s a supermarket at the end of the road to stock up on food and essentials.Loved having our own little garden terrace to sit out in,and the beds were so so comfy. For anyone wondering,a car isn’t essential for Kranjska Gora, as many brilliant walks nearby, and also regular buses from town. We’ve seen some fantastic sights this week, and haven’t even scratched the surface.Dejan was a lovely welcoming host and we hope to return again soon.

We don't like using hotels for family holidays as we have children still not quite old enough to look after themselves and we like a place with space for them to go to sleep but still allow the adults somewhere to hang around without disturbing them. Our chalet at Kronau was perfect because, since it was detached, we had confidence the kids could play reasonably without disturbing any other guests and it had enough space that once they'd gone to bed us parents could stay up talking without keeping the kids awake. It's located near local shops so you can stock up on food and toiletries (self catering, and soap is not supplied) and is a pleasant five-minute walk to the centre of town. Slightly further away but on a lovely route is Lake Jasna, where you can enjoy the scenery or even some paddle boarding. Dejn was a lovely host who not only looked after our needs but was also ever mindful of making sure different groups of guests respected each others' needs too. We had a lovely garden with space for private outdoor eating and the cooking facilities are similar to what you'd expect in your own home. …

The chalets are in a lovely, private and secluded location, very close to town and amenities. Dejan is a perfect host and puts a lot of effort into ensuring you have a pleasant stay. We had a wonderful holiday and it was ideal giving us the freedom to stay in and cook or visit the local restaurants if we wanted.

We have just spent an amazing week at the Kronau Chalet Resort. The chalet was spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped, making a perfect base for my husband and I, and our teenage daughter. Dejen was a fantastic host with very high standards and he went out of his way to make sure that his guests were looked after and that the property was in the best possible condition. We can't wait to return.

Extremely clean and quiet location, nicely decorated houses and surroundings. Very friendly reception with a detailed presentation of the installation and instructions for use. Extremely safe installation in all respects in these times. The owner strictly adheres to the COVID-19 prevention recommendations.

This really looks like a lovely resort, and we were really looking forward to staying there. Unfortunately, our passports did not arrive on time from the U.S. Passport Agency (a serious widespread problem at the moment) and we had to cancel our trip! A week in advance of our scheduled arrival, I contacted Dejan at the Kronau Chaletresort and let him know we could not come and gave the reason. I knew my reservation ($1300+) was nonrefundable and acknowledged that, but in addition I simply suggested that if they managed to rent the accommodation to someone else, would they consider refunding? I didn't really expect a refund, but was surprised by the rudeness of the response. Dejan accoused me of not being "serious" when I made the reservation and that "any excuse is just a personal matter." There are a lot more polite ways of saying "no."…

The owner cares a lot about the well-being of clients and cleanliness. The aparment (house) is well furnished and pretty. We really enjoyed our stay and recomend it to families or couples. There are no hand soaps, so bring them with you. This didn’t really bother me as I had soap with me, but I think that you mostly get customary hand soaps so this is just a warning.

We really enjoyed our time at Kronau Chalet Resort. The chalet was very clean, comfortable and attractive. The location was really convenient for skiing; nice and quiet yet not far from the slopes and town centre. It was also really helpful having usage of a locker right by the skiing. A big thank you to Dejan who helped make our holiday really memorable and who was very helpful throughout our stay.

Highly recommended. Lovely rustic chalet houses in small tranquil development on the edge of the village. Only 15 min walk to all amenities/ski slopes. Comfy & cosy & spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a comfortable family stay in a mountain village. Location is lovely. Owner is very friendly & helpful. Will definitely be returning.

We stayed for one week over New Year. A skiing trip for beginners brought us to the area. The location was ideal for the slopes at Kranjska-Gora. The host Dejan was most thorough and the chalet provided us with all the home comforts we required for our trip. The chalet was toasty warm at all times. There was plenty of room for a family of four with two teenage boys. The chalet was decked with a Christmas tree and fairy lights adorned the trees outside. The chalet was well equipped and was perfect for our needs.
