Rundown and fairly average with a passable location. Certainly plenty of better options about. Staff were very helpful when we had problems with our train tickets and breakfast was good. However you would expect better from a globally recognised chain such as Accor. More

The facility was very good. Found out that the hotel will close in December to make way for a taller and better one. Stay tuned. More

I was at conference of the World Federation of Investors Corporations, most of whom were at the Novotel. The Mercure was therefor only used for overnight accommodation, for which it was very good. One point: In UK all new builds must have a wash basin within rooms having a toilet so that a user can wash before touching anything. This... More

Mercure is considered as one of the highly recommended elegant group of hotels and Mercure Fryderyk Chopin has proved its standard truly. Room is spacious with all the required amenities and comforts. A truly king size bed with cozy pillows is certainly the nicest thing. Great view of the street through the windows and great services. Breakfast service is indeed... More

rooms and public spaces are standard for a city center 2 star hotel, clean and very functional. traveled with a group and none of the rooms had air conditioning and the windows did not open. when we asked the front desk if they could put on air conditioning (it is controlled by the hotel), he refused. He did not offer... More

The room I stayed in was very spacious, clean and lovely. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful (the answer I heard most was "of course, Madam") :-) There was free internet everyday, which was very convenient, the restaurant was quite good and Warsaw was a surprisingly pleasant city - I walked around for miles on my own and... + : Condition is ok, rooms are clean. Staff is really nice and kind, which is a great point. Wifi access (2 hours cards offered by the hotel) --> convenient - : Breakfast is ok, but not really delicious, as well as the restaurant, a little bit to greasy for me. Coffee does not taste good. What is called a... More

The Mercure Frederik Chopin is pretty much an average Mercure in a good location for business - and I suspect tourism visitors. My main criticisisms are as follows: High cost of breakfast - PLN 60 Absence of any English newspapers at breakfast (even US Today would have helped (?)) Very dim lighting in rooms Worn towels When I last visited... More
