Have actually stayed several times in this hotel for business trips to Poland. Hotel has 2 wings, and i normally stay in a room with the wing with a lift, and with a great view of the Vistula river. While the location of the hotel was terrific, there wasn't much else to recommend it. "Pod Czarna Roza" had been recently expanded, so instead of being booked into a room the historic building described in the other email we ended up staying in a newer (somewhat shoddy) buiding in the back. Lovely location in the very centre of the Old Town of Torun. The building is very old and it's almost like you are travelled back in time. Excellent atmosphere. Very clean, good, friendly service. Stayed there a few years ago at that time there was no breakfast included in the price of the hotel. I am going back this year.... more
